I have been working professionally as a software developer since graduating from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2012.
I relocated to Seattle in 2013 and have been specializing in developer tools and infrastructure since 2016. I have a passion for addressing challenges that software engineers encounter regularly and take pride in how my contributions have delivered substantial benefits to dynamic industries.
December 2024 – November 2025
Production Engineer within the Developer Infrastructure organization. Maintained rack-mounted Apple Mac mini devices in Meta datacenters that ran production build and test workflows that required Apple hardware. Primary focus centered on a virtualization initiative.
February 2022 – August 2024
Worked remotely on the Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on enabling engineers to adopt Continuous Deployment principles.
October 2018 – February 2022
Part of the Pipeline team within the Delivery Engineering Group, working on enabling engineering teams at Indeed to build their software using Jenkins. Enhanced processes for maintaining dependencies across internal libraries.
May 2017 – July 2018
Based in Seattle on the Developer Experience team. Primary focus involved improving the build system and dependency manager for Uber's Go projects.
September 2013 – May 2017
Initially joined to relocate to Seattle and was among the first engineers on the Prime Now team at its 2014 launch. Implemented the end-to-end feature in the Prime Now app that enables customers to leave a tip for the courier when placing an order. During the final year, transitioned to the Package Builder Team within Builder Tools, maintaining and improving the build system that all engineers at Amazon used daily.
June 2012 – September 2013
Initial professional role following university graduation in Minden, Nevada. Focused on developing automated testing solutions using C# for the ADAPT 3701 platform.
May 2012
During undergraduate studies, gained experience across multiple research environments, including the Space Dynamics Laboratory, the Center for Self-Organizing and Intelligent Systems, and the Utah Water Research Laboratory. Academic work spanned several technical disciplines: fiber optic communications, computer vision, security research, and automated flight systems.
